Back to basics with my old 34ot she just feels right

Garddogg, I always like your posts, especially like it when you include a BIW prop. You work in an historic profession and place in American history. A couple of years ago when my wife were in Maine, we visited the Maritime Museum in Bath. Driving there, we were passing BIW, I pulled over for 15 minutes or so, and watched what activity I could see. The old City Hall in Bath is a classy building, along with some great old houses, loved that area as much as anything along the coast.

A 5 1/2" Graef & Schmidt lockback folding hunter that was reworked by Muskrat man.
He re-handled it with red and blue liners and white linen micarta.

I really like this Finch Runtly but I haven't carried it much. That's about to change.

I don't do pocket clips and carrying this knife in my pocket made me paranoid that the flipper tab was going to dig a hole in the bottom of my pocket. I ground the flipper tab down today and now I can carry it without concern.

I liked this knife a lot before the modification and now I like it even more. I'm often not very good at this kind of stuff but I'm glad I gave it a shot. It turned out just the way I wanted it to.
