Sunset flub... :oops: ... Well, I thought I could get a cool shot with my knives and a nice sunset... ::dang:: well, not so much. Any tips out there on getting a good shot with sunset background? ::shrug::

Nice sodbuster photo, Charlie.

I like late afternoon sun light, GSP, but I do not know if it is possible to get a good photo with the sunset in the background like your photo.

I think you did pretty good. The darkened views of the knife look good in their own right and goes with darkening skies. Great shots I think.

I tried with the flash and w/o flash and different settings and no luck so far... ::disgust::

GSPTOPDOG, I would try a secondary light source, e.g. a Coleman lantern or similar lantern. Placed outside the picture frame but casting supplemental light on the knife.
