Well, I had another rather pleasant excursion to my mailbox today and it produced this result! A Benchmade 3551 Stimulus auto, 7" oal, 154CM blade, BO/BC, coil-spring activated, and aluminum body. Cool and solid little knife!

Here are a few Wharnies that decided to join my pile recently. (It was totally their decision, I had nothing to do with it and I did not influence them in any way!
) More photos in the Wharncliffe thread.

Ah, what the heck...more photos right here.
The run-up is barely visible and practically indiscernible with a fingernail
Also has a barely perceptible run-up and red liners

Gorgeous knives, as usual ~Q~!
You're gonna have to stay on top of all these models that are somehow finding their way into your collection without your knowledge, it could easily get out of hand! LOL!

Yep, it's quite the solid little knife Kerry! I read a post from a fellow member in which he describes finding one of the 3551's in a mud puddle, cleaning and oiling it, and still using it years later, and that sounds like a "whoopin' and keep on going" to me!toomanyknives wrote: ↑Fri Mar 11, 2022 2:51 amThat's a good stout one, Marco! Re: Mail Call !-Post your new pick-ups here............
These three came in the mail today.
Sears Craftsman (Schrade) 9561. The seller showed it as being a worn, EDC-condition knife. It is somewhat (looks like it was carried for a few months, and put back into the box without cleaning), but the seller neglected to show it had the box and belt clip as well.
Valor Japan 164-A Electrician's knife. Used and carried. But, amazing wood for a "cheap" 1960s era knife.
The Wostenholm British Army Knife is worn out with an incredibly loose main blade, but it likely has some stories to tell. It is dated 1940, which means it likely saw action in WWII. I suspect the original owner of these knives did as well.
The Valor may be used a bit, but the rest are to go straight into the collection.
