Wow, yours doesn't have the ever-common busted blade!

I wish someone would revisit the design. I tested the ad claims with one I bought for $25 with a broken blade (ironically, from a guy who outbid me on the exact same example two years ago, paying twice what I did from him), and it cuts modern barbed wire without a problem and the pliers are pretty strong. Some of my multitools on the other hand, struggle. It is really sturdy for its small size.
My dad found this knife in 1962 or 63. I was 2 or 3 years old at the time, I'm 62 now. :)

It’s pouring down the rain today maybe some flooding….so I figured I would carry a canoe today….and on a just file it in the back of my mind, I went to post office to mail a POS package and gas prices have hit the $3.99 here, one of three stations in my village was at $3.99 and two were still at $3.79 so I pulled in and filled up…. So I’m thinking my EDC may need to be a 6’ siphon hose for topping off the tank when no one is around. LOL

Seeing some great stuff as usual! That cowboy knife is really cool!
Today for me is a Bark River Knives UP Gunny and a foreign made Uncle Henry Congress I'm working on reprofiling the edges to make a carving knife out of it. And a piece of wood from the wood pile I'm making into a feather.

$3.99? ::suspense:: Well, ::hmm:: in a little while the folks from California well let you know how LUCKY you are ::nod:: because THEY are paying $5-6 per gallon. Well, ... do you feel lucky? ::shrug::

My excursion I call the "Pawn-shop-knife-run" is about 40 miles or so across town and the county. It used to cost me (in January of 2021) about $3.10 to make the run in gas cost. Now, it cost me $8.58 to hit the same spots in one afternoon. ::facepalm::

Gas is going for anywhere from $4.79 to $5.15 around here. I drive a few miles to pay the lesser of the two evils. I dream of $3.79 gas, and always wake up melancholy and slightly disappointed when I realize it was just a dream. You don't know how lucky you are.
