Thanks, appreciate it. You too in the one of the knife spanning the gap in the wood pile, and the flag behind. Well thought out, posed, and executed.

I just received my copy of "Adobe Photoshop Elements 2022" I purchased it mainly for my Knife Photography, (what else right?)
Mostly to be used on "Layering" my pictures. I have an older copy of Photoshop, however, it"s from 1998, may not even run on my current Microsoft Windows 10?
I also purchased the ""Adobe Photoshop Elements 2022 for Old Folder" I mean: "for dummies" A must have book for anything as technical as Photoshop Elements.

I did a search within AAPKs Knife photography "Search this forum" for "Adobe Photoshop Elements" to see what the other members had to say, and......not one member added any information on "Adobe Photoshop" ::shrug::
There is a lot to learn in Photoshop, but the rewards will be great. It lists for $99.00, however, it goes on sale for $69.00 often.

The below picture of my Case 2021 Vault Copperhead (recently purchased) is a real SFO beauty, only 132 were produced, I have #55 of 132 made. The number 055 is engraved on the master clip blade but did not come out on my picture.

A Case representative stated within Case Collectors Club that the Case Vault Copperheads would stop production on November 23rd 2021, however, the Birthday on the box states that this 2021 Copperhead was produced on 01/31/2022. What's with that Case? Due to backed up production or Covid?

The below picture is what I mean of "Layered," where one can place numerous pictures within one photo setting and add numerous backgroung goodies. I did not use my new "Adobe Photoshop" software. I used IrfanView; https://www.irfanview.com/ it's a free program that I often use for picture resizing. A good program but a bit limited.

Of course you can use "Paint Shop" or "Paint 3D" that is included with Windows 10, but they are also very limited, not much eye candy or razzle dazzle.

However, my below picture is not very presentable due to the different background colors and knife length sizes. I hope to be more professional on my future "Layered" photos when using Adobe Photoshop.

What Photo programs do you use?

Yup Dan, the adobe suite is about the "best bang for your buck" out there. Even thou it does cost a chunk of change, there's more than a lifetime's worth of tools @ your disposal.

Personally, I find Microsoft's own photo & video apps pretty good. Integration with my computer is a big thing for me, I hate fighting to get software running.

I just downloaded Microsoft's own photo & video app into my Windows 10 you suggested, seems to run well. Will play with it.

Yup, I do all my video editing with it. So if it's good enough for this fibro foggy dude, it's good for most anyone getting started.
