Boker Excelite redo

So today I finally finished a knife that I began working on about 3 years ago.
I had some time to kill at work, waiting on a crew to finish their work so that I could do mine, and I took apart this Boker Excelite Electricians knife. I was at a customer's site, so I did all of this part in my van, with hand tools.

I filed the screwdriver blade into a Wharncliffe by hand, but was never really satisfied with the result (I don't have a pic of the finished blade, but here it is after rough-shaping it with a file).

I put it all together with some new mystery-wood handles, but I was never happy with it.
So today I removed the secondary, added rear bolsters, and put on some bone handles. I had wanted to make the rear bolsters teardrop, but my sanding belts were wearing down and getting too hot. I just rounded them instead.
Not perfect, but much better than my first attempt!

Nice job Reverand! That knife looks really cool now and I would never have suspected it was an electrician at one time if I hadn't seen your pictures. I occasionally go back and redo some of my earlier work from years ago. I know it feels really good to straighten out one that you were never happy with!

I have two of this same generation 9229 and someone beforehand got the bright idea to file the screwdriver tips down in a (failed) attempt to fit #2 Phillips screws. It's a rounded mess, and given the fact that the nail nicks are on the tips; I'm going with one blade on both.

Thank you, gentlemen, for your comments.
The biggest challenge on this one was myself. I find it difficult to go back and take one apart for the second time. It feels like admitting defeat.
There were a few small things:. Such as all the bone I had was too small, which is why I added the rear bolsters! And being unable to get a consistent grind by hand for the Wharncliffe secondary blade.
But overall I am very happy with it now. It has great snap with a solid half-stop, the knife is comfortable in my hand, and was light in the pocket at church this morning.
I have several unfinished projects that I need to finish, then get back to some more of these TL-29's. They make great project knives.
