Camillus

Post by 268bull »

I picked up a Camillus Yellow-Jaket, model 714 today. I've been through the Camillus site and the earliest I found of this model is the 714Y. Can anyone tell me the difference between the two? The catalog photo ( 1990 catalog ) of the 714Y looks identical to my 714. I'm trying to put a manufacture time frame on my model 714. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks for your time. Dale

Hi Pete, There is no Y on the tang stamp at all. That is what has made me most curious. The catalogs from '90 thru 2003 all advertise and list it as 714Y. I need to work at trying to show some pics. Dale
