Tiny Folders / Fixed Blades

Post by KLJ77 »

Over the years, I've come across and accumulated some 'tiny' folders & fixed blade knives. Here's the ones I have...anyone else? Measurements are in the closed position and the fixed blades are OAL.

Necklace knife w/bone handles/ Frost & Sons 1 1/2"
USA mark/stamp (yellow handle) 1 1/2"
"HIT" USA (dark patina) 1 3/4"
Horton USA (black handle w/bail) 2 1/16"
Stainless Japan (multi-tool) 2 1/4"
Hammer Brand fish tail 2 1/16"
Colonial "Cub Hunter" (round brown handle) 4 3/8"
Simitar (no markings) 4 1/2"
Black Handle curved blade (no markings) 3 1/4"
Green handle marked Germany 3 1/5" (ink eraser?)

The bottom right fixed blade looks like 1 of 2 that come with a kukri.

Little knives are cool. That is an odd re-handle job on the Cub Hunter. The green handled item is from a manicure set.

Thanks for the insight, Gene on the green handled little tool. That makes sense about the manicure set. ::handshake:: I saw one other Cub Hunter with the same wooden handle on ebay, but it appears most of them had the flat style handles of various colors. It belonged to my wife's father, who died in 91, but that's all the history she knows of it. She does know that her father never changed the handle, so not really sure how that handle got on the knife. Nevertheless, it's a unique little knife with sentimental value for my wife.
