John Browning Fountain Pen/ Knife?

Ok I am trying to help someone out, does anyone know that if John Browning himself invented this? This is not mine and trying to help someone out. Please let me know, the markings of DEPCSE I seen was a Patent by Browning. Anyone else with insight on this mini fountain pen knife that looks like a rifle.

The mark is DEPOSE and has nothing to do with Browning, the mark is found on many items made in France from knives to glassware and everything else. Dang cool knife for sure!! Depose is the French equivalent of "patented". I checked Goins' for info on A&G but found no info. It is a very cool item but I doubt there is any John Browning association.

I appreciate the info in which you’ve gave, I know it’s weird and when I looked up it automatically corrected to DEPOSE but I have also seen a browning gun with DEPCSE and others with DEPOSE as well.

I found this saying Brownings Patent, DEPCSE and others things as well.

Oh yeah, like an auction site is a good place to look for facts. There is no Depcse mark, just the "O" is just poorly struck or struck with a damaged stamp. Knife has nothing to do with Browning. Many Brownings were made in Belgium, they use the Depose mark for patented like the French.
