Blocking trolls
How does a seller block a TROLL? He keeps coming back even after we told him, politely, to buzz off.
Re: Blocking trolls
Ignore the troll and he will leave on his own.
Re: Blocking trolls
Can you email the troll's name or email to me at bryan@allaboutpocketknives.com?Sanders Knives wrote: ↑Wed Feb 16, 2022 7:58 pm How does a seller block a TROLL? He keeps coming back even after we told him, politely, to buzz off.
I can check into things & try to block him/her site-wide if necessary.

Thanks,
Bryan

Re: Blocking trolls
What exactly is a "Troll", aside of course from those things that live under bridges?
Thx!

As was said previously, ignoring the troll usually is effective since getting no response to their provocation takes the “fun” out of it for the instigator. In internet slang, a troll is a person who posts inflammatory, insincere, digressive, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community (such as social media (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc.), a newsgroup, forum, chat room, online video game, or blog), with the intent of provoking readers into displaying emotional responses, or manipulating others' perception. This is typically for the troll's amusement, or to achieve a specific result such as disrupting a rival's online activities or manipulating a political process. Even so, Internet trolling can also be defined as purposefully causing confusion or harm to other users online, for no reason at all.

It actually makes them really peed off when they don't garner a response. Nothing to see here.Mumbleypeg wrote: ↑Fri Feb 18, 2022 12:10 am A definition found on line:
