John, the lanyard whole appears extra large. I'm just wondering if there is a particular reason for that.

The only thing I can think of Garry is the use of a carabiner to clip knife/sheath to clothing/equipment??? And that just a guess?? ::shrug::

Very well built but unmarked swell end jack 3 5/8”. Looks like Camillus jigged bone.
