Great NBA (New Buck Acquisition) group, Rick.
It's hard to come by those 112's with the drop point. They hold their value.

Gorgeous knife, Smitty! She’s a beauty! I like the 700 series and have several myself. The 704 is possibly my favorite among them.Papa Bones wrote: ↑Sat Feb 12, 2022 3:31 amNice group Rick!!Railsplitter wrote: ↑Fri Feb 11, 2022 9:56 pm Been on a bit of a marathon run lately. All new acquisitions.

Single blade. Pinchable. And slim in the pocket.
Great score!

Saw this "BUCK-LITE" 422 a week ago and went back today and bought it for $8.00. Not my normal "collectible" but it looks like a good carry. Appears to have one dot after the 422. I'll look that up.
Little "used " shop in Selbyville, DE. Still a few nice deals around.

Re: Whats your newest addition to your Buck family and why?
J.O., if I recall correctly, Buck would put a dot on the right side of the model # if they made a 'change' to that particular knife. That single dot doesn't have anything to do with a date. But then, I could be wrong on that.
Also: All the early Bucklite models got that dot stamping, 422, 424 and 426. As well as the 412 Scoutlite. It could be a steel indicator for 425 steel.

Re: Whats your newest addition to your Buck family and why?
Thanks KLJ; I dug back in this thread and found someone said that happened in '84-'85, just before the '86 and onward series. Appreciate the info..
