From Knives of the North comes the Junki, not to be confused with the word junky. :)

The Junki is the smaller knife of the famous Helahoito set. This red Junki has a red lacquered curly birch handle, nickel silver ferrules, and a polished carbon steel blade. The blade is lightly inscribed with the Iisakki Järvenpää signature.
The sheath is nicely detailed with stamped and stained artwork, it contains a plastic liner to prevent the very sharp blade from slicing through, and it has a small snap-clasp to attach to your belt loop or purse.
I bought this for my sister's collection and suspect she will like the rich red lacquer work. It is 6" in length with a blade of 2.75 inches. Makes for a fine purse of desk knife.

::rotflol:: ::clapping:: ::rotflol:: Ha, good one Willie! ::tu:: As a-matter-of-fact, Canada Post just recently installed parcel boxes so when something arrives that won't fit in the regular box the mailperson leaves a numbered key in your box that will open the corresponding numbered parcel box, and doing this has solved 2 problems, the mailperson doesn't need to make contact due to covid, and I don't have to be inconvenienced by getting a delivery notice to go and pick-up my packages. It's a win-win! I'm not usually so fortunate regarding big hauls, but I had 2 parcels sitting in Customs that were released at the same time so I got them together. When I place any order with any seller I try to purchase more than 1 knife so as to save on shipping costs, so occasionally the number of pieces arriving is more than 1! Lucky me, huh? 8)

Case did a very good job on this: half stops, good W&T, excellent fit&finish.

From the little Wood Jewel shop in northern Finland comes a Leuku with an impressive Standing Bear engraving. OAL is 10 1/2". The high carbon steel blade is 5 1/2". Speaking of the blade, its sharpness has to be experienced to be believed. The knife has a fine heft to it tho it only weighs a bit over 6 oz.

Both knives are beauties Garry. Love the engraving on the Leuku.

I seem to be in a Copperhead mood lately. Got in these 3.

Some great looking knives being shown.

Very nice pickups, Mark...those are purty. ::tu::

Garry...that Leuku is awesome. I really like the bear engraving. Very spiffy. ::tu::

Well just now started going through the knives that I brought home from my firearms buy last weekend, it takes time to clean and go through guns and grade them and prepare them for resale, so I got just a small amount of time to look at some of the knives I pulled from the gun safes from the buy…..
