Re: Mail Call !-Post your new pick-ups here............
Was on a gun collection buy, and as always ask will you be interested in these old knives dad had? After buying this gun collection this weekend I don’t appraise knives but after buying 18 firearms I always say what do you want for them, and 99% of the time I give them what they ask for on the knives, but I make my money on guns so it’s good business to buy everything in a collection no mater what, it allows the people a way to move all in one sale. I ask them do you have everything out of safe you want to keep? And then just offer xxxx amount for entire safe. And always there are knives in there, or they bring a box of knives out and ask if I’m interested in them… anyway I picked these up from a box that they found under there fathers bed…

I got in a few here recently. A new Case Canoe with Brilliant Green Shamrock jigged bone handles. A Paragon skinner designed by George Herron and made in Seki Japan. Cocobolo handles, stainless steel blade and pins. The tang is tapered to give this more balance.
Last is a Henckels Whittler with premium stag handles.
That Whittler is out of this world!

Just had these arrive, straight from the post office, great service, 11,000 miles and customs cleared in 14 days.
As is my standard practice with new knives, will give them a clean up, will then post proper photos.

This, what I will describe as a "cute" little knife, arrived today! The only stiletto shaped knife that Rough Rider produces! In the online pictures it appears to be bigger, but in reality it's really only a finger-nail cleaning knife!

My awesome wife comes through for me again! She picked me up this great Case Sowbelly and these fantastic storage drawers. A local hardware store was changing out some displays and had these 4 drill dispenser boxes for $10.00 each!! She thought I could use them for my knives. Boy can I ever! I looked them up online, and they go for about $100.00 each! Fantastic Birthday presents!!

Wow man, I'm absolutely drooling! Your Sowbelly isn't really my kindda knife, but something about that one is grabbing me. And those storage drawers, well, I am totally jealous! You really need to do somethin' very nice for that teriffic spouse of yours! You're not gettin' tired of her being around or anything, are you? LOL! BTW, Happy Birthday buddy!toomanyknives wrote: ↑Tue Feb 01, 2022 3:32 am My awesome wife comes through for me again! She picked me up this great Case Sowbelly and these fantastic storage drawers. Thank you brother! I did get her some new hubcaps for her car a few weeks ago. Does that count? Sure that counts Kerry!
It's the thought of her car looking good that counts, not the gift. Well, if she ever does give you the hook, be a buddy and be sure to give her my phone number will ya! LOL!(I always need to qualify such comments with the "LOL" just in case you've taken me seriously!)
