Vintage of ROBESON whittler

I think this must be a newer ROBESON whittler. It appears to have Winterbottom scales. Made by Queen?

Yes, that is from about 1998, IIRC. Made by Queen with ATS-34 blade steel, though some have said that only the master blades were made of ATS-34.

That was a VEEY nice series by Queen.

Thanks for the replies. I collected CASE knives for years but had to sell them several years ago to raise money for college for my two youngest children. When I decided to start collecting again, I found that the CASE knives that I liked ( pre 1965 ) were out of reach for the most part. I am now collecting any vintage knife EXCEPT CASE, and I have encountered a steep learning curve. I hope that I am not a problem with all my questions.

You might find this helpful, as far as Robeson acquisition is concerned.

Or this, but it doesn’t display correctly and we haven’t been able to figure out how to fix it.

Charlie,
Thanks for all the great information. I guess that the Q in front of the number on my knife would stand for Queen?
