Can anybody tell me about this knife??

I don't know anything about automatic knives. I worked with a guy about 20 years ago who gave me this knife. I really never liked it or carried it. I just put in in my box of knives and forgot about it. Well long story short He did not know it was an automatic and I did not know it. He just opened it up by the blade. Well, When I moved, I noticed it in my knife box and was examining it. I noticed the side bolster moved some. I pushed on it and the knife sprung open.
I still don't like it but am curious about it. The only thing on the knife is China. Any information would be appreciated.

These don't hold up well in use. The mechanism begins to fail.
