American Switches

Here is one of 4 Press Buttons that I picked up this past week. This is the best of the 4 and I am very lucky to have found this one. The etch is just great and the knife is crisp all the way around.

I must say that is the nicest auto ive ever seen. I wonder what the history of that knife is. It must have sat for a long time untouched. What year do you think it was made ? early 1900's ?

I don't collect switchblades per say. These are ones that I picked up over the years when buying knives. There is one bone handled Remington that has a beryllium spring. The spring is amazingly strong. Another says H1211 1/2 on the back. nothing really special. i always wanted one of the bigger Cases or Kabars like a Grizzly.

That one says Case on the front and H1211 1/2 on the back of the blade.

Nice! I love those Ka-bars, but would would be proud to have that one in my collection!

DO YOU KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THE h1211 1/2 i'M NOT SURE HOW TO READ THE PATTERN NUMBER. Im assuming the first 1 is the number of blades. The H is for the handles but not sure why It wouldnt get a 7.

I have always wanted a "Hunter's Pride". (This swing guard is an impressive pattern). It is both useful and beautiful. What more could one ask?

Here’s a set of rare American automatic knives from around turn of the century, it took me a long time to get theses two knives together, both have a factory optional “ antiqued “ finish and are spectacular! The larger George & Martha knife is signed V. Brenner , he also designed the Lincoln penny, also depicting the Capital building… the site of the recent insurrection, pretty historical knives!…. Who’d a thought.

Here is a nice little switch I bought at the flea market today. Something seldom seen here.
Fires and locks quite nicely.

Well, I guess I'll drag this old thread up to show off the Flylock I got today at the flea market. It's a honey.

4 1/8" closed. Strong spring on button but it works fine. Lotsa blade.

I'm not familiar with switches but it had to come home with me.
