These showed up yesterday. I'm hooked on that acorn shield and the Cinnamon Stag Bone Handles didn't hurt them one bit. I may be wrong but I think the Damascus steel blades look to be chemically induced. JMHO

Some good looking knives.
Look closely at the spine of the blade. With true Damascus you should be able to see the layers. Acid etch Damascus is on the blade only, not the spine.

Beautiful! I really like that Cinnamon Stag Bone...closest I have ever seen to imitation gnarly stag. RR really got that right. Now, if only they would make a Mini Trapper or a single Wharncliffe blade pattern with that handle material, I have no doubt The Monkey would be all over them. ::nod::

Pretty sure Jerry that the blades are real Damascus and not etched. I checked that detail before I bought one several months ago.

Nice Garry! ::tu:: The red bone covers look great! Is it one from Mark's recent acquisitions? ::shrug:: I have a beautiful Ka-Bar coke bottle melon tester with white bone covers and spear-point blade currently sitting in Customs that I bought from Mark that I'll post when it arrives. Great knife you have there! 8)

Thanks Garry! ::handshake::

I have no idea but the seller seemed to have a # of different modles & a # of knives from each of them. I suspect they are made in eastern parts of Europe or maybe even Asia because it's a real nice knife but it only cost about $30 shipped. I also found another seller who IMO seems to have knives from the same maker but has different modles than the seller of this knife. I may buy one or two other models over the next few months if I have the money. Time will tell. ::tu::

Pictures don’t do that knife justice Garry.

Tom I have seen these on Ebay and wondered about the quality of those? They certainly look great.

Thank you all for your reactions: Tom, Steve, John, Marco, Willy.

Yes Marco, it is indeed from the always choice selections of Mark (Sharpnshinyknives).

And Mark, you are absolutely correct. Certainly, my photos do not come close to revealing the beauty of the Ka-Bar.

Went bay fishing and hooked this low mileage 3 dot 110 wearing black micarta. :D The bay is polluted, but sometimes the fishing is good!

I wasn't really expecting anything today so I didn't check the mailbox til later, and low and behold my pivot screws for 2 autos I bought awhile back had finally arrived after a 7 week wait! I just installed the blades and took the pictures so that's why I'm posting this so late! 8)
