KaBar trapper II

Her is the Kabar trapper that I was talking about in my previous post. Note the star after Kabar on both blades. Can anyone tell me if this is a knock off? Thanks. Mike K.

That's the real thing....I suspect that is from the late 60's era soon after they switched over from the black imitation jigged bone handle material to the brown delrin.

i think the stars refer to stainless.
