Winchester 2099

Lets have some fun and examine this Winchester.

Tell me what everyone thinks.

I can tell you that I've owned it for 30 years. I bought it in a lot of knives.

the blades snap open and closed, the springs and tangs match up nicely. It have 1/4 stops. The blades are well made and the swedging and finishing is high quality.

I collect Winchester Knives. I`m Not an Expert on Winchesters but I am Knowledgeable. Winchester Knife, 2099 Pattern, is called a Slim Jack Pattern. Your Knife does Not resemble the shape of the Winchester Slim Jack Knives in any of my Books. The clip blade on your knife does not look like a Winchester Clip Blade. The pattern number stamp on the tang does not look like a Winchester stamping. I believe your knife is a Contract knife that was made for Winchester by another manufacturer. Thats what I Think. Mike

Winchester 2097 is a Serpentine Pattern Knife with Celluloid Handles. The Blades on your Knife look correct from what I can see. Appears to be a Winchester made Knife.
