I found this at an antique store this morning. It had lots of receipts and pay check stubs from the late 1940's. It looks like it held 16 pocketknives in the top half of the display board and maybe a few sheath knives at the bottom. I'm just trying to figure out what brand of knives it originally held.

Looks similar to some Imperial cases I have seen.
If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants.
