Can Anyone Identify This Knife?
I got this cute little jack with a collection of knives that I purchased months ago. The only identifying mark on it is the number 22 stamped on the clip tang. OAL is 3 1/8" The handle scales (covers) remind me of a synthetic material that Camillus used years ago, which I think was called "brownstag". But, a number 22 Cammy is of course a peanut. Any ideas? Thanks!

Made by Ulster, circa 1960's. No idea as to why it is marked that way. I'm guessing it has the "Swinden" construction but even if not still Ulster IMO.

I agree with Steve on it being an Ulster. I owned one very similar at one time. It had an Ulster blade etch.

I agree with Phil and Steve.
It may have had a Kingston name on it at one time.

Thanks so much guys! I've looked at the tangs very closely and don't see any evidence on a stamp having been removed. I guess this will remain an unsolved mystery. At least we have a consensus that it is an Ulster. Thanks again and happy new year!
