Shumate's are very cool well built knives, great find ville!

Thanks Gino That's a nice one you have there. I can't find much info on shumate knives.

Thanks Gino, so the way I read it the company only made knives for six years. Does that sound about right to you?

The only Shumate I have. I have oiled it up some after this

Thats a nice looking texas tooth pick you have there looks like bone handles I would say 1930s ::hmm:: ::hmm::

Welcome to AAPK. Seems there’s not much known about Shumate aside from what little there is in Goins’ Encyclopedia (see above post from Gino).
