Can I add a pocket clip???
Looking to see if someone on here can help me by adding a clip to a case trapper to a knife I own. Does anyone here mod knives?

If you want to do it yourself, Texas Knifemaker Supply has them. Just click on the clip you want, and they show the tap, drill size and screws you will need.

I am wondering if that would be a good idea or not? With holes drilled and tapped into the bolster, when the clip is flexed open it is going to act as a lever to try to pull the bolster loose from the liner. Knives that are designed with a clip might have something built in to prevent this. What say you knife mechanics?

I'm not a knife mechanic by far but that's never stopped me from expressing an opinion. There's a good size pin through both bolsters that the blades pivot on. The clip would put very little stress on the bolster, too small to cause any torquing of the assembly. JMO
