Camillus Corkscrew Knife

The Camillus Cutlery Company was one of the oldest knife manufacturers in the United States with roots dating back to 1876. The company manufactured Camillus branded knives and was a prolific contractor for other knife brands up until its last days in 2007 when the company filed for bankruptcy.

Camillus Corkscrew Knife

Post by Vit_213 »

I purchased this knife on ebay.
Closed length 2-7/8"
Spear blade with caplifter on tang, corkscrew.
Steel liners.
After cleaning, it is began to look beautiful :) .

In the catalogs I did not see this knife from Camillus brand, only like him Camco 215 (255).
Help me with dating and identifying the model number of this knife.
Tell me about the company Clarence L. Meyers & Co. In what period of time it existed? What was the business this company?

Have this one to add . Don’t know anything about this pattern or if Bartenders even really used them . Your 3 and this one sure don’t look like they’ve been used much .

JP, that is a pretty cool old Bartenders, I wouldn't think many of those exist. Benedictine is not a very common liqueur.

Thanks Ike . They’re a fun little piece. This one has 3 different Companies involved in the handles
Vits Salesman piece is something else!! Never seen one with the ink and the handles promoting advertising .
