Very nice Dog! ::tu:: I guess a Buck would have been a good choice too, but you know you have a quality auto with a Benchmade! Of course, I like ANYTHING automatic! Fine looking knife, Merry Christmas to you! 8)

Picked up this Utica Kutmaster from Knifaholic. My first Utica anything. Exceeded my expectations. Tight, smooth, great transitions, no blade wobble or movement, sweet walk and talk, great color, larger clip. Really pleasantly surprised. Excellent knife and for the price very hard to beat. Thanks knifeaholic. Great one from you again.

Ivoryman,
That is what I'd call a comfortable looking, traditional pocket knife! The handles cause you to look twice. ::tu::

Thanks doglegg, thanks Quick, Gdogg, Marco, Tfarmer. Appreciate it. But just noticed I wrote Ulster when I meant Utica. Changed my post but couldn't change the quotes. Utica, and very nice Utica at that. Thanks gents, appreciate the comments.

Agreed. I have a small collection of Utica/Kutmaster knives from the 70's back to the 20's/30's, and they are all great knives.
I think they are as good as any of my other knives from that era, but after the '70's they started to head more towards the
cheaper end of the spectrum, and people just forgot how good they used to be. Even the later ones aren't bad, but they
just weren't the same as the old ones...

Got this one in the mail yesterday.
It's a Roper by American Buffalo Knife and Tool. I didn't have this brand name in my collection, so I ordered this one.
It's a medium stockman with carbon steel blades. The handles are wood and stag with a small plastic and metal spacer.
It has steel pins and nickel silver bolsters. Not the best knife in the drawer, but at $20.00 from SMKW it will do.

That's a very nice looking stockman Roper, David. Nice eye appeal. ::tu:: I've got four Ropers, two trappers and two stockman's. I picked them up because I liked the looks of them. Yeah...not the greatest in what I have, but they're a nice knife to EDC. I'm pleased with what I got.

On Christmas Eve I got this one from CASE.
They call it the 2021 CCC Exclusive CASE 6.5 Bonestag Barehead Panama.
I'm a little disappointed in the finish on the blades.

Beautiful Case you received David! ::tu:: Sorry you're not satisfied with the blade finish, but the lovely bonestag covers should compensate for that a bit. All the best for the Holidays to you and yours! 8)

Great looking bone stag dlr, congrats and merry Christmas. Great gift and thought.

Got a few myself today and am revelling in the sweet glow of cold, hard, steel and bone. Beauties and feel very thankful for those who get stuff like this to make the season merry for dad. Hope you all got some in your stockings too. Love a new knife and these two, the 14 and 15. Been after a Muscadine and a Tom's Choice for a while. Love the hammered pins and distressed look. Dreams sometimes come true. The flag knife isn't really my style, but won't tell the father-in-law what I think about that. I will tell him the $50 he sent with it was the best cash gift of the season and one I always love seeing in the box. All the best to all of you and hope you're having a great one. ::woot::

Like the Zippo, that's a great looking stamp and blade finish, nice bone too. Good shield as well. Congrats on that pack of sweeties.
