Schrade 5OT with Amber American Standard Jigged Bone Handles

Post by Jeffinn »

This one had the usual Schrade broken spring so I replaced it with some spring material from Jantz and put some new jigged bone handles on it. It needed some threading so I added that as well. It turned out pretty nice.

No, it comes ready to use.
According to their website it’ll retain its spring memory if you need to bend it to make it work. I’ve used it on a few knives without any issues.
