MJH Fixed Blade Knife, Can You Identify The Maker?
HI, CAN ANYONE IDENTIFY THE MAKER OF THIS FIXED BLADE KNIFE I PICKED UP RECENTLY? 6 1/2" OVERALL LENGTH, 3 1/4" BLADE. THE BLADE IS LIGHTLY STAMPED "MJH". GENUINE IVORY HANDLES, NICKLE SILVER TRIM. WHOEVER MADE THIS KNIFE IS AN OUTSTANDING CRAFTSMAN, THE FIT AND FINISH IS PERFECT. I AM VERY INTERESTED IN FINDING OUT WHO MADE THIS KNIFE IF ANYONE CAN HELP OUT IT WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!
THANKS, MILLER
THANKS, MILLER

Hi Miller,
Welcome to AAPK!
I can't help out with your knife, but I am sure someone will be long who can.
Looks like it might be a custom.
FYI,
A point of forum etiquette; when you type in "ALL CAPS" it is the equivalent of yelling in person.
Please switch to lower case and save the caps to emphasize a point, or for the proper grammatical usage.
Welcome aboard,

Hey Miller,
Good looking knife! Wish I could help you out. Odd that the maker wouldn't put his mark on such a nice piece.

MJH is probably the makers initials, appears to be custom. maybe 440C blade steel appears to be very quality so someone must know who he is. Try posting it on the knife network one of the makers there might recognize the mark. www.knifenetwork.com/forum/index.php

Hi dale, thanks for the etiquette tip! I`m new at this and a bad typist with bad vision. I see better with all caps but will use all lower case.
Hi muskrat man, thanks for the tip, I will post this to the knife network as soon as I have time .
It`s a beautiful knife. It does look to be 440, it`s definitely not carbon steel. Appreciate your comment!
Thanks gmusic for your input too!

Dimitri, that knife is just gorgeous. Did you ever find out who made it and do you still have it?

Jerry, never did find out who the maker was

I ended up trading it for some folding knives

Going back to your first post on AAPK.
I don't think I could have let that one go.
