Carrying a Benchmade Bugout 535 in S30V that I put Berkshire Forge polished Chidori finish Titanium scales on to improve rigidity and looks. I love the custom look the scales give this knife, well worth $70. I also ditched the clip and put on a Schmuckatelli black oxidized pewter Emerson Skull lanyard.

Thank you, it has been about 10F mornings and windy, that would not be as bad but there is no snow. I talked to a rancher the other day, and between the lack of moisture this year and the inflation of prices, it is the worst year he has seen in 50 years.1967redrider wrote: βFri Dec 10, 2021 7:20 pm Thanks, Kris, awesome TB! Thanks for the compliments John, Tom and David!
Carrying these two today. Marbles Handy Hunter, made for A.G. and an A.G. made stockman. Both come from similar time periods, the stockman is stamped 1997. Claude Scott sheath.

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
Mine came in the lot I used as the base for the POS Exchange this year, and I think I gave $20 for the lot. The knife had been taken care of (I suspect it had been a one-owner knife since new in the '50s), sharp, and the only damage (rust) was the TSA's fault.1967redrider wrote: βSat Dec 11, 2021 2:28 pm

Purina knives are really expensive; especially given (aside from vintage Remingtons), that the knives used as a base are usually quite low value.
For example, there is an Irish Imperial hoof pick knife with the Purina logo and a gorgeous scrimshaw on it. The normal pattern is usually seen with various equine medications and is usually less than $20 (sometimes $10). The Purina ones are usually $30-40, and they're not that old either.
