Those sure are nice trappers. I wish I could take photos like that...everything is perfect. If you don't mind my asking, What
camera do you use and what kind of light. I just bought a Kodak P-850
and I can't even begin to take knife photos like that.

Those are good questions Carl, I would be interested also in how Blade Runner sets up for the pictures. Ok Blade Runner your gonna have to share a secret or two...

How in the world do you get your blades to stay in that partial opening position, if I tried that my blades would snap shut...???

Thanks Guys for the compliments on the knives and the photography. To answer your questions as complete as possible at this time, let me just say that I have been working with Mark Zalesky(editor for Knife World) to improve my phtography skills for the articles I write for Knife World. As I understand it Mark has also been working with other writers like David Anthony, who I'm sure you all know. David and I can both attest to the fact that Mark is not only a great teacher but a super human being. I don't know about David, but up until a few months back when Mark started working with me my photography was horrible. Anyway at this time Mark is working on an article about good/cheap knife photography to be published in a future issue of Knife World, so I will answer a couple of quick questions without compromising Mark's article. The blades are held open with small pieces of card board placed inside the knife between the tang and backsprings to hold them in the desired position. The lighting is done with a very cheap homemade light box which diffuses light. You will have to keep your eyes peeled on future Knife World issues for the rest of the story.(I sound like Paul Harvey)
