Nice pair! I went looking for a Kent Utility, but ended up finding a "Sportsman" Outers-like pattern that I really liked instead (it's rosewood as well, but not jigged); and it wasn't expensive, so it may be headed my way.

The handle on the Powr-Kraft is really unusual for a hawkbill/cable knife. Looks quite like what you'd see on a paring/kitchen knife.

CODY: Yes and the full tang stops about a quarter inch after the rear rivet, so the handle is slotted from a single piece. I think I gave a buck for it at a yard sale a good while ago?? I have a big collection of hawks. I really did 'em. Crazy, huh ? J.O'.

I know little of the Mcusta brand, how about another picture or two. Do you have others? What wood is that?

Sweet Henckels there Quick. Like the wood that looks like segmented bamboo. Looks like great grip.

Perhaps the nicest wood-handled knife I have ever owned is this (pre-Benchmade) Lone Wolf Paul Defender with checkered Cocobolo:

Beauty Q, reminds me of gunstock embellishment. Cool color and textutre for sure. Never seen one like that. Good show.

I think choosing teak was a very creative choice by the maker. Very handsome.

Nice one, my wife carries a Boker Winzermesser in Olive, from the Evergreen series a number of years ago. I will post a pic tomorrow.

You guys are showing some beautiful knives. I love the different types of woods and I think
when I get back to rehandling and doing knife kits I'm going to use a lot more wood.
