Marco, I almost thought the same thing until I met Trey. When you make a connection you'll know it but you won't connect if you don't go look. ::tu::

I have to go to a memorial service in a neighboring town today so I won't be getting out for a walk. Here's one from the archive for my contribution of the day...

Thanks for the advise Charlie, ::handshake:: I know deep down that would be the right thing to do. Perhaps I'm feeling a bit guilty because I'm considering a small dog instead of a cat this time. I've ALWAYS been a "dog person", but Elvis needed a home at the time we met so it was a no-brainer. That's a beautiful knife you posted today, I love the purple jigged bone covers! 8)

Love the little EZ open Robeson. Great fungus/tree shot too. Beautiful colors.

Morning, folks!

Gonna get some good knife shots today, but a couple will be extra special! Gonna get a couple of shots that will have 1863 Kansas-Missouri Border wars themes. Two gravesites of men whose names are quite prominent of the times! Hope to get them posted tonight or tomorrow! ::ds:: ::tu::

Charlie, your photo would actually make a very good family crest: crossed blades beneath the muffin missile. Just a thought.

Really like the colors in that one. And the biodegrading rose hips or what look like rose hips to me. Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet calendar shot.

Meet Elder and Union officer, Obediah Smith of Cedar County, Missouri. After being able to elude Gen. John Marmaduke throughout the war, William Quantrill and approximately thirty to forty of his men, dressed as Union soldiers, were shown Smith's home by two of Marmaduke's soldiers. Quantrill made small talk with him outside of his home and asked to see the gun he was carrying. After handing it to Quantrill and bragging about picking off bushwhackers with it, Quantrill turned it on him and fired. He missed. Smith took off around towards the back of his home with Quantrill's boys on his heels. Guerrilla Bill McGuire got off the shot that took Smith down.
