Carrying a KK 3701 splitback Whittler today. Awesome blades, half-stops on the pen and coping, swedged, stamps on each blade and some sweet jigged bone scales. Thick main spear riding on 2 backsprings. Made by Winchester???

I don't know who made it but it looks to me like you have a real winner there. Very nice.

Really cool Ulster! On Page 183, Levine calls them Balloon Jacks, a Case -83 pattern would fit the bill too as a Balloon Whittler. I love them, old school cool.

I was in the Navy stationed in Washington DC and my Navy buddy was from Milwaukee so we watched it together. Wonder we didnt hurt each other! You brought back some fond memories. I have 2 brothers and i got them each one of those bottles and they still have theirs as well. They were 10 and 8 years old at the time.
