Thanks John! ::handshake:: I was a little disappointed when you didn't comment on my 2 knives when I posted them, because you ALWAYS comment on my posts, but I fully realize it's tough sometimes keeping up with all the posts in "Mail Call", and besides, better late than never! Thx again'! 8)

It's easy to see why you love your new knife Greg! ::tu:: Those covers are spectacular! ::nod:: I'm a big fan of sodbusters, ::ds:: but there's so many different one's out there I'd need to have a whole separate display section for just those if I started collecting more than I already own, and my focus is on other styles. Enjoy your beautiful new knife! 8)

Nothing much to report on fibro front. Did just pick me up, my first Vic (Recruit) for 10 smackers.
Used it to crack some cars open, that main blade cuts ::woot::

Bigshot, that's a fine looking piece of hardware. Just can't bring myself to spend that kind of money on a Rough Ryder. ::shrug::

Three of the four that were in transit were delivered yesterday. During my picture taking, I discovered that I already had one of them and of course, it was the most expensive one. ::facepalm::

The shield is missing and there's a chip out of the bone handle of this old warrior but the price was right. How could I pass it up. I'm going to call Case after they open and ask about a replacement shield. Stainless Steel blades have made her a real die hard. The blades have half-stops and excellent snap.

Lately I haven't been procuring any but I was able to win one of these for $53, so naturally I allowed myself to buy the other. ::facepalm::

Today, I have three boxes of knives arriving. I had never considered Rough Ryder in the past. Somehow $12 for a knife seems too good to be true. But that Kayak is absolutely perfect. I'm usually a Buck man, but that RRR is as clean and tight as any USA made Buck I've ever gotten. Even at a little higher price than the average Rough Ryder, it's still a drop dead bargain. I have $100 knives that aren't made any better. I have some regular cheap China knives from Marble's and Rough Ryder arriving today. I'm interested to see how they compare.

EDIT: Ooo! Ooo! The mailman just brought me three boxes full of knives. I'm torturing myself by waiting until I finish the work day to open them.

Jerry, I thought I was the only one who bought a knife I already had. I do like your recent acquisitions, especially the bone on your Mini-Trapper.
