Re: Knife Photography
Thanks for the comments, I appreciate it. I had 6 or 7 shots that I was trying to choose from, and that "blob" was on all but 1. You were correct, Iman, it was my dog.

That makes it a better picture, can't go for a walk in the woods without your dog!

Re: Knife Photography
With all the wind and rain yesterday I barely got the Farkelhound out between downpours for a short walk and we weren't pausing to take any pics. So here's one from the archive...

Now Garry that knife is very nice, but I think it belongs down here in Texas, not in Kentucky...

Re: Knife Photography
John, when I first saw your knife in that photo, I thought; wow! what a huge knife. And then, my critical thinking skills kicked in and realized the knife is sitting on a photo.
If that was your intent for that visual...you did good, real good.

Re: Knife Photography
I have rarely carried this old Remington since rehandling it, so it got a little pocket time today at church.
As far as the background, this is an old press on the front porch of my Dad's log house. Here are a couple of more views of that: in the last picture you can see his Blacksmith's shop in the background, also made of logs.

I LIKE thatun!!Madmarco wrote: ↑Sun Oct 31, 2021 6:26 pmGarry! You can't possibly be considering my proposition? The T/P is beautiful, but it'll never be gorgeous like your model. I have no particular attachment to my knife so if you need it to complete the set or anything I'd be more than happy to "bomb" it to you.
