If you hate stag and 1095, don't look at this
My Moore Maker stag Jumbo Trapper, purchased from our own agteacher, arrived today, and it is one gorgeous hunk of knife. It occurred to me that I now have three Queen made samber stag handle hunting knives with 1095 steel, although they each have different brand names.
The three knives are 1) the Queen Mountain Man Lockback 2) the Northwoods Scagel, 3rd edition and 3) the aforementioned Moore Maker Jumbo Trapper.
Together they almost make a nice set. Click on the picture to get a better resolution image.

I can't wait till my stag MM gets here. And the rams horn too.
Jeff
Thanks again for seeing that a particularly nice speciman was picked out for me. You indicated you would and this knife has probably the nicest stag scales of any I own. You really can't appreciate from the pictures just how nicely figured and symetrical the scales are. I'm extremely pleased with it, thanks again.
Regards,
Jim
P.S. Hey Johnnie I know what you mean. I've developed a little saliva management issue myself many times looking at pictures on this forum.

Hey Longbeachbum,
Beautiful !!!!
You did very well on your picks, they are nice...
I think that since they are so nice that you should send them on tour to other members to hold and look at....My address is 1614 Sylva........
I will be watching the mailbox waiting for them....With my bib of course...

And, all three are very nice, I have a Scagel Ivory, and they are a beefy handful, hey??
