Wooden Blades
"Wooden knife 3 times sharper than stainless steel utensils can carve through steak like butter
WWW.STUDYFINDS.ORG – Share
A new type of knife carved from wood may forever change how people cut their food at the dinner table. Through a new hardening process, researchers from the University of Maryland say this wooden utensil is actually 23 times harder than normal and three times sharper than the ordinary stainless steel knife."
Instead of washing it, one could just throw it in the fireplace I suppose.

I suspect that that will go the same path as cold fusion. Although I would like to see if they would perfect the process for something other than a knife. When you get old you think about such things.

Re: Wooden Blades
That video showing the 'wooden' knife being used to cut the steak is somewhat misleading. First off, the person cutting was slicing through a seam of the steak...and when it appeared the wooden knife was having a tough time cutting the 'meat' part, the person cutting actually pulled or tugged the piece of meat away from the larger piece. That's what my eyes saw anyway.
Not a very convincing video for touting something that's supposed to be 'innovating'.

I saw it the same way Ken. Sure didn't appear very sharp to me.KLJ77 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 28, 2021 5:23 pm That video showing the 'wooden' knife being used to cut the steak is somewhat misleading. Well then, Mark...we agree on two things. I think that steak did look good too.
