Bulldog Pocket Knife

Post by huskerfan »

I purchased a Bulldog pocket knife yesterday. The number on the box is BD453IP but no description on the box. I have been unable to locate a website to get more information on this knife. It appears to be a Wharncliff Whittler, 4 inches long and pearl handle. I need a link to get more information on this knife.

There are no web-sites that I am aware of that would help that much but if you would post a picture of it there are some people on this site that can help you identify what you have. ::nod::

We do need a picture to really tell. If I recall correctly, the IP on the end stands for Imitation Pearl (oystershell celluloid). A 4 inch whittler would be the Big Whittler with the 1/8 inch spine. The 2 closest Warncliff's are the Viking at 3 7/8 and the Thor at 4 1/8 inches. The Warncliff's are much different than the Big Whittler and the number that's on the box is not necessarily what's inside. 8)
