Schrade 95th Anniversary Knife

I have a Schrade 95th anniversary three blade knife in a glass dome. It looks like a stockman. I am interested in the value and any interesting details. It is mint. I am not interested in selling the knife. Anybody have any info for me?

The word MINT goes a long way today.

But it would get a beter value if you show a photo of what you have....

Can you give a value of a car with out seeing it???

If you can then I have lots of 1995 cars to sell you with out you looking at it.

Knives like cars come in all different conditions. Like cars the condition of the knife affects it's value.

Without seeing the knife it is impossible to give a meaningful price.

I thought I would show you a couple of pics. This knife does not have any blade rubs or pepper spots. It has sterling bolsters with number 0065 stamped on it.There are no cracks or chips on the handles. Any imperfections are just the lighting. The bolster could be cleaned a little since they are sterling.

i own an unlce henry 95th myself. but your knife is far superior.
i love to display my knives ...SOMETIMES...then i clean them up and put them safely away.

now this is just my opinion,everybody has one
with that said... displaying knives is fun.i love making displays and setting them up.
also knives with their diplay intact are worth more.

but displaying and storing are two different things.

i have a friedn who onws about 10000$ in yellowhorse.all his knives have been in display cases since hebought them.nice
tall beautful glass cases with lighting and everything. 3 cases full.i asked him one day about 6 months ago
when i got into restoring knives if he was worried about pitting and patina and such. he said "whats that"

long story short every piece in his collection has faded wood on one side ,little pits here and their,etcetc.
i am now cleaning anything i can on them for him.so the bonus is at any given point i have a roll of 10-20 yellowhorse pieces in a knife roll for me to play with im making a picture library as well!!

if you want to keep the value of that knife and it doesnt look like your gonna use it and this is just my
IMO i would not store it with the blades open like that.your putting stress on the springs all day every day.
plus even in that container you will eventually get patina,pitting etc etc..

my 95th uncle henry i snagged in the box for 30$- so my guess for ebay value 40-60$.
book value about 90-100$

the word mint is tough. alot of collectors i know MINT doesnt exist. "almost brand new" seems to be the choice word.see just the handling marks from opening the blades that would disqualify it as mint to alot of folks.
i have knives sealed in packages from the 60s. i wouldnt call them mint. mint is a tough word.
like the word rare. theirs a difference bewteen "rare and "rarely scene"

I have seen the display only NIB available for sale
in the AAPK stores for about $30 if that's of any help.
