2 pin Buck 110?

I was going through some knives today to put in my store and I found this Buck 110.
At first I thought it was a Buck blade in a different frame, but in reading some of the posts I am not sure.
It is a solid knife with smooth action & rock solid lock-up. What throws me off is that in comparing it to newer 110s, this one looks more chunky. The edges of the handle & bolsters are not rounded as much as later 110s I have.

So my question for Joe is:
Is this a correct 110?
If it is correct, (from a 110 time line I downloaded from somewhere), I would think would date at 1974 to 1980.

How close did I come?

Hi orvet,

Your 110 is commonly referred to as a 2 dot (*110*). It is a sixth version, variation #1 and was made 1974.

You must have the same 110 dating list that I have.
I downloaded it somewhere I can't remember where it was.
If I knew where it was, I would put a link in here so others could refer to it.

I can email the data sheet to you no problem. I'm not sure how to post a link but please feel free to do that.
According to this latest revised data sheet, your knife is a 5th Version, Variation 4.
There have been a few revisions over the years and it gets confusing. I was trying to find the best way to group all the variations in a way that was meaningful and easy to interpret. With a lot of input from other knife nuts, this is the format chosen. It starts with the first 110's in 1964 and finishes, for now, with all the 2 dot variations.
I am currently working on 3 dot to present. Hopefully and further revisions to the older knives will only be added details, not completely new formats.
