I have a smaller slipjoint advertising model from the '50s that's still going strong, and I just bought the full-size Otter-made lockback earlier this year. In my opinion, it's the best $30 one can spend on a knife, especially from someone who tries to avoid Chinese-made knives. The quality is amazing for a knife so inexpensive.

John, I suspect that with your regular wood's wanders you have logged enough miles to cover the entire Appalachian Trail. Which raises a question. If you were going to assault the Appalachian Trail or a substantive part of it, which knife would you choose as your companion?

Well, I wouldn't get overconfident. They may be more than adequate for most challenges, but I'm afraid if you ever encountered Mothman.......well, it just may be the end of your woods wanders.jmh58 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 16, 2021 6:50 pmThank You Garry.
