Schrade over Walden over NY USA The knife has been cleaned. The person who cleaned it is a toolmaker, and uses an extremly modified lansky and 4000 grit paper. he dosen't clean knives that have pitting. He wrote an article about this in Knife World some time back. The knife has some grey spots but does not have that cleaned look. ps it only took two hours to learn how to post a picture including how to use the camera. Now I will need to learn how to do it better.

Nice one Bill! I've seen a lot of Schrade Cut Co HJs but hardly any Schrade Waldens!
I use a high grade scanner, with good depth of field, for my pics. You can't do artistic shots, but you can nail the details, and the pic goes right to your favorite file!
Just an alternative suggestion.
