Would that '78 be a 75th anniversary model? Nice restore project. You'll have to post a pic with a knife posed on it when you get it restored. Would love to see that. Thanks for the compliment.

That's for sure bud! You guys are coming into winter just like us, but at least your winters are only rain, I have to deal with -40 degree temperatures and 6 foot snowbanks. H/D Sporty, my favorite bike of all time, although with only about a 4 month riding season here it's never been logical to purchase one. I did own a Triumph Daytona 500 "crotch-rocket" with dual-carbs one season, but I wasn't responsible enough to ride it safely so I sold it right after the 2nd wipe-out. Ah, the good ole' days! LOL!
