Alas, I am in the same boat with you guys. I just like them, both the ones with the ANVIL tang stamp, and the later ones with the Colonial tang stamps. They are just like many other knives, when taken care of and not abused, they are pretty good knivesGSPTOPDOG wrote: ↑Mon Oct 04, 2021 8:10 pmYears ago I got a Stockman ANVIL and I thought it must have been a really old Buck knife, a sort of pre-Buck, Buck knife. I though "Hey what a score! this must be worth a fortune...jerryd6818 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 04, 2021 3:09 pm I have a thing for the Anvil knives. Not enough to call it a collection. It's the handles that get me.... well at least it turned out to be a good EDC...

Re: KNIFE FINDS OF THE DAY
Had the jones for a quick add to my addiction today. I focused my thoughts
and vaguely remembered some sort or a part/parts of a pretty strong knife in the bottom of my old work toolbox up in the shed and wondered if there was a fix there. ...Sure enough.

Re: KNIFE FINDS OF THE DAY
Good day at the Honey Hole! So my local haunt found a few things in their storeroom that they brought out a few days ago.
I happened to wander in today to find a NOS 2010 6347WH gift tin with sharpening stone and a block of wood.
Also found a NOS 2013 Copperlock with script shield. Couldn't leave without them..

Re: KNIFE FINDS OF THE DAY
Neat knive Charles. I had one of those I kept in an ammo box in my John Boat many years, that I used when fishing. Wound up giving it to one of my nephews. Turned out to be a decent knife.charlesf20 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 05, 2021 2:27 am Had the jones for a quick add to my addiction today. What is the purpose of the block of wood?
