That was the question, I was assuming it was a knife you had made and was curious if you’d made the blade or used a blade from another knife, that’s all.GSPTOPDOG wrote: ↑Sun Oct 03, 2021 9:29 pmWell, the handmade folder is from Afghanistan and maybe made from a file. ... if that was the question,Steamboat Willie wrote: ↑Sat Oct 02, 2021 4:10 pmDid you fashion the blade for the home brew, or repurpose from something else?

There is a small hand made knife making industry (along with axes, shovels and other farm type tools) in Afghanistan. I bought several different ones while I was there. I picked this one up several years ago in a village. In the bigger towns along the main road you sometimes find an old man with a big turban sitting by the road with an open top shallow wooden box selling locally made knives. I bought several from venders like that. I also had the chance over there to see blacksmiths making axes and shovels and other tools. It made for some interesting photos.

Is that a Kephart? Great lines, I really like the blade and handle. Sweet knife.
Cool Remington BFORSE.
Nice EZOs geocash and red rider. Love those.

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
I think the Copperhead fits my needs perfectly. I don't know if Spyderco makes a pointed version of the Saver Salt, but I do know there's a PE Rescue 79mm, which is basically the same knife. Spyderco's serrations are awesome, however. The Wenger Pocket Toolchest features most of what I need in the smallest possible package.
