Got in a couple to add to my Camillus Family. One to add to my Steelies and one as a project.

First, a Camillus double line tang stamp NO.1 DURA-TOOL Hawk Bill. Like new, no use and excellent snap.
Camillus No1 DT_a.JPG
Camillus No1 DT_b.JPG
Next, a Camillus Long Line tang stamp, 1047 Boy Scout Whittler. Blades have great snap, are worn, and handles have shrunk and missing the shield. But this will be a project for a re-handle and cleanup and will make a decent EDC.

That Cattleman's Cutlery Farriers Companion finally showed up today. Much heftier than I expected. Not bad for a PRC made knife especially at that price.

Cool looking knife Jerry. Gald it made it past the porch pirates. Now you need to get a pony!

My 1st experience with Opinel was many years ago, bought a bunch from SMKW for Christmas gifts for the school board maintenance crew. They proved to be reliable, gave one to my son at the same time and he dressed a deer with it. I had trouble keeping mine out of the washing machine. ::facepalm:: Some of y'all gave me advice how to dry it out. ::handshake::
Several years ago I bought 2 stainless one for my grandsons.
I saw this one in the shallow end of the bay and was able to capture it for $7.50. :) It's a #8 I think with the olive wood handles. All the earlier ones I bought were the the Beechwood handles.
Appears to be factory edge.

Nice catch T.F.! ::tu:: I've wanted an Opinel in my collection for awhile now, and with my penchant for BIG knives I naturally thought of the #13, but when I actually saw picture of one I changed my mind immediately, they're HUGE! 8)

Beautiful set David! ::tu:: It's nice having a whole set of a certain knife, I limit my sets to 9"/11" and 11"/13" and even those are starting to add up! 8)

Floyd, that's Kutmaster should wear the title of HOK, sure like the handles. ::tu::
There are always plenty of these old 551 Camco Barlows for sale, most have lost a lot of metal but every now and then I see one that looks like it has full blades. This one came today and I was not disappointed.
