Kissing crane

Here is a newly acquired kissing crane Solingen. Just looking to find out the age and if this is buffalo horn.

Klass registered the "Kissing Crane" logo in 1895. There have been numerous variations along it's history. Not sure which era yours is.
"Buffalo" horn is a generalized term that includes cattle horn. Hard to say. Nice piece.

Thanks for the info! It's a nice little knife, good length and thin so it pockets well. I still need to clean the crud out of well, oil it and give it a good edge.
