Hi Scott! I forgot how pretty those wine barrel handles can be. I think its time to see if I have any more of that stuff and do another knife. Its good to see it again, and out in the wild!

Re: Knives in the Wild
I went for a walk down to the lake today and took these three knives with me.
The Leek is my EDC. The Camillus 72 was gifted to me by Reverend. And its part of my regular rotation. Thanks Reverend! And the third is a puuko. I'm carrying it in a homemade Kydex sheath that I designed to be a dangler. All in all a great day to walk in the woods! No smoke from wild fires! Clear blue sky and comfortable temps!

It does my heart good to know that knife is used now. I had thought about collecting 72-patterned knives, but I am more of an accumulator than a collector. I liked it, but never carried it.#goldpan wrote: ↑Wed Sep 29, 2021 11:36 pm I went for a walk down to the lake today and took these three knives with me.

Here we go again!!!
Out walking the dog at night and this 'lill guy was coming across the path. I seen several lately, maybe it has been a result of all the rain this past summer I think the folder there has almost a 4" blade

Quite the photos!
Nice pictures, as usual! I looked up Smith Rock, looks like a great area. Got any photos of "Monkeyface"?

Re: Knives in the Wild
Some beautiful knives getting in the woods.
Took this Blind Horse patch knife with me on a search for squirrels. None showed but my brother and I did run across this milk snake. Little guy, about 8 to 10 inches long. A wonderful day spent in the woods.
