A Case and a Short-Line Camillus repaired
I just thought I'd show a couple of knives I've worked on recently. The Case was something I repaired and re-handled for an AAPK member, and I was pretty happy with the way it turned out. The second is a Camillus that had no scales when I got it, and pins were already filed down. The knife was good and tight otherwise, so I decided to just glue the handles on instead of taking the knife apart. The blades were severely curved because of the way they had been sharpened, so I tried my hand at re-profiling them before sharpening. They look better than they did...I could have done more, but I prefer to tread lightly, as it's a lot tougher to add material than it is to take it away.

Both knives look good!
Good that folks can spruce up an old knife and make it useful again in today's "throw away society".

Great job on both of them! That old Case may just look better than when it left the factory.

Nice job on both knives!
I agree with Wade, that Case may be looking better than it did when it was new!

Thanks, fellas! It's getting to be more fun, now that I've made a few mistakes and learned a few things *not* to do...
