Justold52 asked, "Does anyone know if this is just assisted opening or a true switchblade knife?"

I have a friend who is in law enforcement. He bought one recently. It is a full fledged swithblade; opens with the press of a button. Has a safety to lock it closed. Nice knife, but not legal to carry concealed in Ky. without a concealed carry permit. An assisted opener would be legal. Guess that's why the folks at SOG restrict the sale.

Sorry I did not come back here to answer my own question.

SHE is a FULL AUTO or as we know them as switchblade.

She also makes a sound that you can't mistake for an assisted opening knife.

It's a sound like when some one cocks a gun you automatically know what happened.
